Xenaki, Francoise: “Koita pos ekleisan oi dromoi mas” (Look at how our ways were parted) Transl. by Soti Triantafyllou, Athens: Patakis, 2003, ISBN 9601607714.

Contrary to its title and its narrative form, this book opens new paths toward understanding the life and oevre of the Greek composer Iannis Xenakis.

On the back cover of the book we read: “On a summer day, Ianis Xenakis, great musician, beloved husband and friend for half a century, is lost on a mountain in Corsica. He cannot find the path which will bring him home. It is the beginning of an illness which will slowly deprive him of his memory,   isolate him in silence and will distance him entirely from the living things. His wife, Francoise, relates the route toward the loss of personality and death and remembers the moments of joy, anger, sadness and despair that she shared with him...”

Note that the book is in Greek.
