This section of the Library collects and catalogues all kinds of material that relate to Greek music. Serving as an archive as well as a research and educational center it aims at becoming the main center for the preservation and study of Greek music.

Its holdings include recent and older publications about Greek ancient, Byzantine, and modern music up to the 21st century, as well as folk music and rare items from various collections. It is made up of 15.000 books and scores, 2.000 sound recordings, periodicals, concert programs, video recordings, and CD-ROMs and becomes richer by the day.
